no it will just take a few moments to start after you put gas in it.
It can if there is sediment in the bottom of the tank and it clogs the fuel filter.
Fuel filter could clog. Fuel Pressure regulator could fail. Fuel pump can burn out.
If you have sediment or water in the bottom of the tank it is always in the bottom of the tank and it doesn't need to be empty to suck in the contaminates. The contaminates can be sucked up if the tank is full, empty or anywhere in between. Most vehicles now have an electric pump inside the fuel tank. If you run out of gas simply pour a few gallons into the tank then cycle the ignition switch on and off several times pausing breifly a few seconds in the on position each time. This will prime the fuel system. Now you can start the engine as you would normally. It would be wise to keep the tank near full rather than near empty. What if you had an emergency in the middle of the night and your fuel tank is near empty?
well, yeah. so does running the ac, or having unnecessary weight in your car
You will use more gas when your air conditioner is running.
put gas in it!
It's called: Your car is running.
Because when your car runs out of gas there is no more gas in the fuel lines to run the motor so when you refuel it then start it there is nothing there to keep it running. The gas have to be pumped out of the tank and into the motor.
it will feel as if you are running out of gas, the car will start sputtering.
If your car is running when parked then it is burning gas. Cars use gasoline to run the engine.
No. A car heater gets its heat from the motor and uses no extra gas at all, unlike a car's air conditioner which does use more gas.
If your car won\'t start after running out of gas it could be that the fuel pump was damaged.
nothing, you pay them if you want your car to keep running......
of course it is. it needs gas to move, to start, and to run
A battery is used to start a car. Once it is running, the alternator then supplies electrical energy to charge the battery as well as power the electrical systems in the car. Removing the battery while the car is running will not affect the running of the car.
