S-video is an interface standard for video signals only. It used two cables, one for a black and white image and the other for the color information. Audio needs to be routed on separate cables.
It is possible to record audio into the Sony GV-HD700 with no video signal attached. You have to use the analog audio inputs. Since you are essentially recording a blank video signal along with the audio to DV tape, it is not a pratical way to record, and modern solid-state recorders are capable of much better audio quality than the HD700, which is limited to 16-bit, 48 kHz.
An audio signal is a representation of sound, typically as an electrical voltage. Audio signals have frequencies in the audio frequency range of roughly 20 to 20,000 Hz (the limits of human hearing).
S-video is a two part video signal carrying luma and chroma signals (Brightness and color signals). There is no audio signal in an S-video connection so the audio will need a separate connection to operate.
S-video is a video connection that uses two wires, one for black and white information (The luma signal) and one for color information (the chroma signal). It does not carry audio but S-video inputs and outputs normally have a stereo audio connection associated with them.
An optical audio cable is used to transmit digital audio (AC-3) signal from the source to the receiver, such as from a DVD player to a digital audio amplifier/receiver. You can transmit 5.1 dolby digital or DTS surround sound with an optical audio cable, same as digital coaxial audio cable.
Audio generator will produce some range of frequency and level of a test signal meant for audio. A signal generator will produce a test signal but is a more general classification. For example a audio generator is a signal generator. When you know what type of signal you are looking for, then a signal generator will be called that type of signal. all depends on what you are testing. examples: video -> video signal generator audio -> audio signal generator
HDMI is a digital connection that transports video up to High Definition and multi-channel audio. S-Video is an analogue connection that transports video in standard definition and with no audio.
the audio signal is put on transverse wave .
This converter is for audio only, not for a TV signal.
S-video is a video only cable, you must add an a extra audio cable.
microphone............
The relative amplitude (loudness) of an audio signal can vary from soft to very loud. When you normalize an audio signal, you adjust the overall average amplitude to be about same throughout. An audio signal is 'normalized' to a specific numeric value, measured in decibels (e.g. -4db).
Because Audio waves move as sound waves through air as condensations and rarefactions or slight compressions and partial vacuums of gas molecules and can be stopped by the walls of a house.
20Hz to 20kHz
Simply put, it is an "extra" audio input that allows a device to accept the audio signal from an external audio player.
because demodulated FM is an audio signal, which the frequency is much smaller that is why it can be transmitted alone. It need carrier which has large frequency. Modulated signal is an audio signal + carrier that is why the amplitude is higher.
Noises present in audio signal may be of various kinds like environmental noises, transmission noises etc.
