shell makes the motor oil it used to be valvoline in 2005- 2009 now 2010-2013 shell takes over work in the oil department its the truth.
thin air
Shell Oil's parent company is Royal Dutch Shell.
what you do is you go and get your wife to do it for you or go out and buy a car and tell your wife that you did it
According to Shell Oil, it does not use MMT in its motor fuels.
Shell
refine and clean oil.
Old World Industries: Old World Industries is just the name of the company and they do not refine oil. Their oil is refined by different companies at different times. Who refines their oil as of 4/2013 is anyone guess.
There is no better oil. Each oil has more or less benefits depending on your situation. Like anything you get what you pay for, cheaper oils have less costly additives that keep your engine clean and wear to a minimum.
You don't necessarily want the cheapest oil, diesels need GOOD oil. I am a diesel mechanic and I highly recommend Shell 15W40 motor oil.
Umm...they sell gas cheaper? They also sell the most popular synthetic motor oil, Mobil 1. Shell, OTOH...Shell has the new "nitrogen enriched gasoline" that is supposed to be a really great detergent fuel, and Shell's Rotella T is the leading heavy duty motor oil for big trucks and old Volkswagens. On the human rights and ecological fronts, oil companies are essentially evil no matter which one they are. I think it's basically a wash.
Oil spills can happen anywhere where oil, not limited to crude oil, is contained, produced, used, transferred or transported. Some examples are Oil platforms in the sea, oil wells on land, oil tankers transporting oil, facilities that refine the oil or transfer it to ships, motor vehicle workshops, motor cars, boats, restaurants, etc. Spilling even half a cup of oil in water or on the ground is still an oil spill and can be hazardous to the environment. Not only crude oil from oil wells are hazardous to the environment, but also cooking oil and motor oil (to name a few) are.
