Well since you got sun burnt you obviously got sun and the heat tends to dry your skin out, therefore your acne too. But your acne always comes back.

Yes it will. But keep water off until it heals.

Although the sun may have dried out your skin temporarily helping dry out acne too much drying of the skin may cause skin to produce excess oil in turn causing more acne.
Sun helps cover up skin marks but in long-term it iritates the skin causing more and more pimples.
My answer would be yes and no. Sunscreen helps acne from getting worse, however, it does not make one's face better or doesn't get rid of acne. Just prevents the situation from getting worse. If you want to actually get rid of acne on your face, then I suggest you confirm the products you are using (if you are) with your doctor. Better yet you skin doctor, as they will all suggest natural products depending on how bad the acne is.
Addition: A sunscreen of zinc oxide does help acne. Zinc is beneficial for acne-prone skin both topically and orally. It's an anti-inflammatory.
The sunlight does not prevent acne in fact it can increase it. The sun opens your pores and releases oil, so if you don't wash your face after sweating in the sun and touching your face it will just increase your blemishes. BUT if you wash your face, then it will help remove blemishes because it clears out the oil in your skin.
Yes, There is alot article stated that sun help to cure acne.. but my case its not. How i found out?
Im wearing spec in my whole life, i have acne all around my face. but never had one around my eye. if u want to see it, I have photo of my redish face all over but smooth and white just around my eye which beneth my spec all time.
Yes it does. I had it so bad up until summer when I started to lay out frequently. The sun fries out the pimples. Another good thing to do is go to the bech and lay out there, then go into the water and scrub sand on it. This will exfoliate your back and afterwards just lay out. It should be go e within a week. I would do this more than once!
Although tanning makes it look like acne is going away, it doesn't actually help it.
