Being MPFI (fuel injected), there are no jets (seeing as it has no carburetor!).
Stalling can be attributed to many things. Frequent fuel filter replacement is a good plan.
If it's hesitant/stalling on acceleration and stalling on slow down or stops, then could possibly be the fuel filter.
A bad fuel pump can cause stalling. The oil pressure will show low oil on the lights or gauges but if the pressure is ok then the switch should not cause stalling.
Could be in need of a tune up with spark plugs, spark plug wires, air and fuel filters.
It is 1,694 miles according to Google Maps.
If it is a stick shift or manual, you may be stalling it. a way to stop this could be to place the clutch all the way to the floor.
Does it stall when first started or ONLY once the car has warmed up ? After it stalls will it start right up again ? or does the car need to cool down before it will restart ?
Possible causes, idle air control valve, dirty throttle body, egr valve clogged, major vacuum leak, maf dirty, intake restriction.
There are at least eleven Pontiac dealers in and around the Denver, Colorado area. You can find them by looking them up in directories or in the phone book. I am not sure how old this post is, but if there are 11 Pontiac dealers in and around the Denver Colorado area, I can tell you that there are 11 dealers that are either in Deep Trouble or they are GM Dealers, formerly having sold Pontiac. I am of the impression that Pontiac, since either 2009 or 2010 stopped producing automobiles just as Oldsmobile did several years back. You can still obtain parts for them, and probably, obtain them at most Buick, Cadillac or Chevrolet dealerships although you may have to wait a day or so for some of the parts to be ordered from the manufacturer. Excessive stalling is often a problem with your idle air control valve (IAC). Before buying a new one, try removing and carefully cleaning yours with carbureator cleaner. Do not change the setting by turning the screw in valve, just clean it. It would also be benificial to see if the computer is storing any trouble codes, most auto part stores will do this for free now.
