No. The first Accord with VTEC was the '94 EX model.
Yes, Honda came out with the VTEC engine in 1989. Not all 1991s have the VTEC engine.
yes.
any engine fom 1994-1997 accords will go in easy. no modification.. if it is a ex you will need and cannot find a vtec engine for it then you must remove vtec computer.. if you want to put a vtec in a lx,or dx model you will also need the vtec control and harness
No
That depends on the engine you have in it. Different years have different engines available. I have accord 1999 LX 4Cyl VTEC has 150hp accord 1999 V6 VTEC about 170hp
Yes, that is a great engine.
Belt.
The Honda Accord would be faster with air shocks and the engine that runs like a babe. :-)
The 94 Accord EX (SEDAN OR COUPE) has a 2.2 SOHC 145HP V-TEC.
does this have a vtec engine?
Your question mean vtec controller wasnt fitted in accord 2004??
It has an interference engine. The cam belt must be changed at 90,000 miles. The VTEC engine also has a balance shaft belt that also must be changed. Non-VTEC engine does not have the balance shaft belt.
