No it doesn't
It's right under the steering column on the right hand (directly below where you insert the key for ignition) - it's behind the dash and you can feel it if you stick your hand underneath there.
you can copy any key, but, if the key has a "chip" in it you will have to take it to the dealer to get a copy made. I drive a 2004 F-150 and it has a chip in it.
No. The anti theft is in the ignition not the key for that vehicle.
Yes i have a 2005 Chevy malIbu and lIst my key had to go to a dealer ship for a new one because theres a chip in it kinda spendy
No. I have both a 2001 LE and a 2005 LE. The latter has a chip inside the key, where as the 2001 doesn't.
If the key is gray or has built in buttons, yes. If black with no buttons, no.
no if there is a car that has a chip in key then it should not start without one if it does then your cars censor for that is messed up
Yes, the key has a anti theft computer chip in it.
Had the same problem and it was the computer chip in the ignition key
I bought a 2009 accent as well. Found myself asking the same question. I called the dealership and the answer was NO.
No it doesnt. I had the same question because I needed to get a copy of my key made so I went to the dealership to make sure it didn't and they told me it didn't! Money saved!
