Really it hardly allows more exhaust throught since it is a dual muffler not a true dual exhaust system. You could block one of the exhaust pippes and your car would still run fine. There is no such thing as too free flowing exhaust on a 4-stroke. But, you can't get true duels on that pickup unless you move the gas tank, since it is in the way. I put cat back dual pipes with no mufflers on mine sounds titties.
