Yes it does...read 1 Timothy 1.3-4 and also Titus 3.9
They used to do it back in the day to prove you were a true Israelite, since that is a birthright as opposed to a religion. To do it like the LDS Church does though, that seems to go against the Scriptures.
Another Answer:
No, it simply does not say this to the people and it was a custom as mentioned already of the people, including two genealogies of Jesus. Like anything we do, we cannot put something ahead of God though - no obsessions in other words and genealogy can easily become an obsession - take it from personal experience.
Paul was instructing Timothy and Titus not to get caught up in non-ministerial teachings of the Word. He instructs Timothy how to guard against the 'judaizing' teachers, or others who mix and mingle fables and endless genealogies with the gospel. Paul shows the use of the law and the glory of the gospel as the sole purpose of their ministry.
No
He had looked through The Bible and had seen that the Bible didn't say anything about indulgences. He figured that they were traditional and that was a way that the church was making money.
It depends on the nature of the interest. If you are interested in the killing, suffering and death then I would say it is possibly not normal at all. In fact you should probably seek help. If you are interested in the strategies, technologies, history or disciplines, etc, there is nothing wrong with that.
The Bible doesn't say who it was.
That it is a symbol of the devil and death. The Bible does not specifically mention skulls and crossbones at all.

If you are talking about the Bible, it doesn't say that anywhere.
Well...the last time that I checked, the bible was written about 2,000 years before the invention of films, so I would say no.
that's its wrong and it should not be used
is it against god to buy a dog
Most human beings would say that slavery is wrong. Just because something is found in The Bible does not justify it being done. Consider that rape, incest, and murder are also found in the Bible as are most of the wayward ways of mankind.
There is much dispute amongst scholars in interpreting the bible's content. There is nothing in the bible attributed to God which, in every reasonable interpretation, is objectively wrong. (I am only familiar with the Old Testament, and cannot speak for other bibles.)
No you are not saying you are wrong. We all need some conformation that what we are about to do or say is the right thing. Some may seek confirmation from a friend or the Holy Spirit. Whoever you seek confirmation from or advice, make sure that you take that advice, if not do not ask, use you own gut feeling.
Because they don't like the idea. They find it repulsive and icky. They say that the Bible says its wrong, but the Bible also says that premarital sex is wrong, and nobodie's trying to make that illegal.
