We do not have a name for the ancient Egyptian religion so the general term 'pagan' will have to do.
There was not just one pagan religion, but the head of the mainstream pagan religion in Rome was the emperor.
Pagan beliefs are one type of religion. There are other types of religion, which are not usually considered to be "pagan".
A pagan or wiccan religion believes in the power of the earth and "mother nature" is one of their godesses. But many people believe in nature but dont believe that theyre pagan.
This is called polytheism! If you are interested in this read up on the Hindu religion, or any of the pagan/neo-pagan religions which believe in all sorts of gods, demigods and deities.
What are you talking about!? Pagan isn't a place ( i don't think) Pagan is a religion!!!
I personally don't believe there are any synonyms for the word "Pagan", but some people think Wiccan, Heathen, Blasphemer, and other less then positive names are equal in meaning to being a "Pagan".
Since Paganism is the oldest and original religion, I believe you could say that Paganism and thus pagans influences all religions in the world. It's hard to believe but many religions based their belief systems on preexisting pagan beliefs. One example would be the trinity of the Catholic church is based on pagan beliefs.
was the name of the vikings religion called pagan or asatru
A pagan is a person whose religion believes in magic or superstition.
first of all you have to believe in the beliefs (yes i know this is obvious, but some people only want to be pagan because it is "cool") then you can either join a coven, which traditionally takes a year and a day, or you can self initiate yourself, which i did. you pretty much just follow the religion and once you call yourself pagan, you are pagan.
