You can get a codec that will play it for you. It's a really awesome codec and will work with any media player. technoguy.in
This is almost always caused by not having the proper codecs installed. Many movies distributed over P2P networks are encoded in Xvid or DIVX format. The easiest way to solve this is to install a codec package, such as the XP Codec Pack (also works on Vista).

Of course. It wouldn't be a "Windows XP game" otherwise.
A XP codec pack can be found on such websites such as CNet and FreeCodecs. These site have links to the codecs and also provide information on other types of codecs that may run the extension you have your media formatted in.

The problem is linked to filter and codec you have installed on your computer. For anyone that have windows vista premium and use windows DVD maker to burn DVD. This is the exact solution to resolve the problem: The filter and codec I installed on my computer was vista codec pack. Maybe some of you installed the same one. The problem comes from this codec pack. You need to remove that pack in the unistall program section. After this, you install this codec pack that works for me and my father and did not cause the SID problem. Install the K-lite mega codec pack (compatible with vista) that you can found here: http://codecguide.com/download_mega.htm For anyone that have the same problem on other burner software and on windows xp, try to install an another codec but you can choose the same one because this codec is windows xp compatible. Hope you will resolve the problem...
