The Jews do not recognize Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah, they are still waiting for the Messiah to come.
This depends on the denomination of Christianity, but some denominations regard Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and/or Nazareth as holy. Others also regard Vatican City as holy.
According to the New Testament of Christian Scripture, Jewish believers of Jesus considered him the promised Messiah without question. Even Paul (an influential Pharisee and Rabbi of the day) converted to faith in Jesus - along with countless other Jews who retained a Jewish understanding of God. In turn, no indication was given that "another Messiah" was expected. Understandably, Christians acknowledge Jesus as Messiah. They also believe that the full completion of Jewish Messianic Prophecies will be culminated at His inevitable return. So in this regard, Christians still have a further "Messianic hope" for the second coming of Jesus.
Orthodox denominations generally preserve the concept of a human messiah, whereas most Reform and some Conservative Jews regard the messiah as a symbol for a time of peace in the future.

Jews during the Third Reich in Germany could convert, but as soon as a Jewish ancestor was found in your bloodline, you were considered a Jew. In other words, converting to another religion did not help them. Most 'Jew-spotters' seem to regard anyone with a Jewish grandparents as a Jew. To put the matter differently, it depends on the definitions used.
The concerns of the Nazis with regard to schools were to eliminate Jewish teachers, Jewish students, and any books with Jewish authors.
Of itself no, it is used in the Siddur (Jewish prayer book) as a title of the God of Israel and it is a generally recognized symbol of Jewish identity and Judaism (the religion). However, it was used by the Nazi regime in a racist manner which has sullied the symbol and care and sensitivity needs to be taken with regard to it.
They regarded them as their own cities within cities.
Jesus the high officials were afraid of Jesus because he spoke the truth about His Father Jehovah and about his Kingdom. The Jewish clergy used religion to keep the people blinded from the truth. John 17:3 tells us to come to know the true God.
