There are no volcanoes in the Himalayas .....not quite true

theres one volcanic area in Tibet in a branch of the Himalayas called Kulun Shan , highest of which is Kunlun peak in Tibet - 5800 metres and it has erupted in the last 100 years . There are many large earth quakes in this area also. The other volcanic area is outside the Himalayan area , in Burma so this can not be counted.
