No. Both the Pope, Head of the Catholic Church and the Sovereign of the United Kingdom, Head of the Church of England, both have custodianship of an enormous amount of valuable property - priceless art collections, crown jewels, palaces, ceremonial garments, etc. However, unlike the wealthy owner of a private collection, neither the Pope nor the Queen is free to dispose of these items at will. The papal collection and the sovereign's collection belong to the office of the papacy or to the crown, and although the occupier of these positions enjoys the use of them during their term in office, the collections must remain intact for the next occupier of that office. Privately wealthy collectors, on the other hand, are free to sell, give away, or destroy part of all of their collection as they please.
