Does the ac compressor have anything to do with making the service engine light come on than a short time later all instrument lights come on 94 ultra buick and than quits running.?

The check engine light can come on if the refrigerant is low on some models. Check the trouble code to verify. The A/C compressor will not make all the lights come on and will rarely cause it to quit running, unless the compressor siezes.
