even though your compressor is still running does not mean anything... what you need to do is find out what refrigerant this vehicle calls for either R-12 or R-134a and have a a/c recharge service done and then you should have ICE cold a/c
Compressor not running? Check fuses, check switch
Make certain the compressor is running. If it's not running, have the refrigerant level tested.

Look at compressor when engine running-You should be able to see if compressor clutch is pulling in. Try with A/C on and then with A/C off to see difference

If the heat is on that would explain it. But if you are running the air conditioning, the compressor is on and fully charged with r134 it is probably the air mix door inside the heater stuck in heat mode.
