Baptist accept the existence of hell. It is the separation from God in the after life. Jesus called it the garbage heap where the worm never dies and the fire never stops.

Many Christians today doubt the severe state of Hell. They feel that God is love and would not punish the children with Hell.

As Baptist we believe that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That their eternal home is in Heaven(no matter gender, race, background ethnicity etc...). At the sound of the Trumpet/rapture of the saints those people will be called up to meet God the son(Jesus Christ)in the air. There will be a great reunion with past relatives and friends who were redeemed(saved)and died before the rapture. Then begins the millennial reign of Christ...the seven years of tribulation for the unsaved who rejected God's gift of eternal life through Christ... the loosing of Satan...etc....

Then after it's all said and done, the saved go to the new Jarusalem(Heaven)to live with almighty God for eternity. A place of beauty and splendor, a street of gold, gates of purl crystal river. However the unsaved who rejected God will go to the lake of fire(Hell) that originally was for Satan and his demonic angels. It is described in The Bible(KJV)as a place of fire and brimstone(salfer) and whaling and gnashing of teeth. It is a continuous torture day in and day out for ever.

But their is an alternative to this tragic place, call upon the name of the Lord ask him to forgive you of your sin and for him to come into your heart and save you. The gift of eternal salvation is yours in the name of Jesus Christ. Reference to this- John 3:16 (KJV)
