The Drivers Door Module or Passenger Door Module on a 2003 suburban is also known as the "window / door lock" switch. These modules are located on each respective door, i.e. driver side door or passenger side door. It is the module that has the door lock/unlock switch and window up/down switch. Hope this helps...
What feature for the Driver's door, are you looking for? The fuse for the driver's door module is fuse #3 a 15amp fuse, in the under dash fuse panel. Fuse #24 in the same fuse panel is for door locks/relay.
The keyless entry module on the 1997 Suburban is under the dash on the driver's side. The driver's side door needs to be open to see it.
The window lock is faulty. It happened on my Jeep and i replaced the driver's dorr control module and it worked just fine...until that one broke too.
The fuel pump driver module is located behind the passenger side rear door pillar inside the trunk under the upholstery.
If the door has been replaced with an after-market door, the VIN will be missing or painted over.
The intermittent power window module for your 1996 Chevy Lumina can be found inside of the driver door. You will need to remove the door panel in order to access the power window module.
More than likely the vehicle was in an accident and the driver's door was replaced. The new door would not have that sticker.
There should be a sticker with the code on the driver side trunk hinge and possibly another in the glove compartment. The code should also be printed on the door lock module which is inside the driver's door (you have to remove the door panel).
Lots of possibilities, but it's likely the driver door control module, which is the module that has the switches in it. It has to be replaced at a dealership because the module has to be coded to the vehicle's security code, and programmed with updated firmware, if there is any (I know there is new F/W for the passenger door). The precise programming will depend on the on the installed options. This will cause the windows, locks, seat heat control, seat memory buttons, mirror control and window lockout button to all not work. (Crappy design, too many functions in one module). It's an expensive repair, I just had my passenger door module replaced and it was over $700. Took the dealer 2 weeks to get the part. Some mechanics have reported that disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds sometimes wakes the module up, so it's probably worth giving that a try first.
there are two or three capped nuts on the inside of the door the whole black strip from the window to the top of the door is replaced
i own one and my dealer told me that the computer is inside the driver's door.
