EH...... what the heck
The bottle that contains only yeast and water. The experimental group in the bottle with yeast, water, AND sugar.
Warm water is best for yeast because yeast is a living organism that likes to live in similar temperatures to humans. Put yeast in hot water and it dies, put it in cold water and it will not do its job properly (will be too cold to reproduce fast etc). Put it in water that is just right and it will thrive
you did not answer my question . please answer the question I give you I said the hypothesis about how to make a ballon blow up using soda and yeast
because the water is boiling and you have killed all the yeast.
alcohol, a by product of the fermentation
yeast is a consumer
Yeast of course, beer bottle, water, balloon and sugar maple syrup.
i had the same exact question for my science report determining wether or not yeast cells are alive.
The bottle that contains only yeast and water. The experimental group in the bottle with yeast, water, AND sugar.
A yeast suspension is made by mixing yeast cells with a liquid.
it activates the yeast and without it the yeast wouldn't rise
I just did this experiment for my biology class. It seems that with the bleach, it kills the reaction of the yeast. It overpowers the yeast. No bubbles occur--like if it were just yeast, sugar, and warm water.
Experiment
if you mix it with other stuff like flour and sugar and salt you can get bread, without mixing it, its just warm yeast. problly a bad idea to try to heat it up.
To look good
Nothing happens. Yeast needs water to activate. Flour doesn't become dough without water. Sugar doesn't dissolve without water. You need water to make something happen.
yeast only feeds on things with a sugar ingredent so, sugar feeds yeast, cause it grow.
