Yes, since the moon is rotating around the earth, it is not always visible. If it is on the the other side of the earth, then a person could not see it. The difference is that the sun rises and sets because the earth is rotating on its axis, while the moon rises and sets because it is rotating around the earth.
the earth itself receives light from the sun. but it has the moon. the moon is the answer i think.
The moon never "rises" and "sets" like the sun does. It orbits around planet Earth.... At night, when it shines, that is not the moon's light, that is the sun's light that is reflecting of off the sun!
It is when the sun or moon breaks the horizon. And sunset and moonset happen when the last bit (trailing limb) goes below the horizon.
the moon rises on the east because it rises on the opposite side of the sun which sets on the west.
NEVER!!

No
The Earth's rotation causes the sun and moon to 'rise' and 'set. The rotation also causes the sun and moon to move across the sky from east to west, but really this is an illusion we see on out planet.
The moon will rise roughly 45 to 50 minutes after the sun, for every day that has passed since New Moon.
Sun rises in the east in day , moon in night when sun sets . It depends on rotation of earth,
The New Moon rises with the sun.
