Does the o t give a description of Jesus?

Isaiah's chapter 53 prophetic description of "Christ in the flesh" is pretty "NON-descript."

"...He hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him." (Isa.53:2 KJV)

"...He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him." (same verse - NIV)

Daniel's prophetic description of Christ, however, matches John's description of how He looks today, at the right hand of the Father in heaven:

"...I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of Days did sit, WHOSE GARMENT WAS WHITE AS SNOW, and the HAIR OF HIS HEAD LIKE PURE WOOL: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire." (Dan.7:9).

"...the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His HEAD AND HIS HAIRS WERE LIKE WOOL, AS WHITE AS SNOW; and HIS EYES WERE AS A FLAME OF FIRE; and HIS FEET LIKE UNTO FINE BRASS, as if they burned in a furnace... and HIS COUNTENANCE WAS AS THE SUN SHINETH IN HIS STRENGTH." (Rev. 1:13-16)

So, there is no biblical description of Christ provided, that we might look at any man or painting or snapshot to "pick Him out in a crowd" of people. The "image" of Christ that the world has come to accept and embrace isn't derived from The Bible... Old Testament or New... but from the imaginations of men.

The only one provided by the Bible of Jesus' face is the "brilliant, blinding light of the sun in full strength"... into which the human eye cannot look.
