Yep,

well there is no such thing as a free luch we all gotto work. but if you work within the travel indusrt (not even own a bis) you can get some amazing perks.

Say you want to boost your tour sales to Hawaii- if you havent been its a bit hard to recomend it to people. SO you would write off to some accomadation places and some tours that are availiable for you to sell, let them know your going to do a xmas promo - all replys will be with a free "famil" offer. They will host you on a low season time for free so you can see what they have to offer. Flights are tax deductable and you would get the best wholesale deal around anyways and as your off in low season all things covered.

If you are interested in travel and perks- go to your nearest backpackers and offer to volenteer selling tours and chat with the backpackers- its a great first job and the backpackers company will be able to get you out on all the local tours around. Seeing your city like a tourist is always a brand new way.

Once your in the scene there are some pretty long hours, and lots of work but it is very social and fun and a great mindset around so tourisim is a fantastic industry if you enjoy people.

Running a tour company that does multi countries is also a pretty good aim- see intrepid for some ideas.. The best thing is to get in there and join the fun. Get your license and become a tour guide. Make sure you try to learn just a little in the way of languages and get comunicating.
