No. Usually it is the battery that is lacking the Cold Cranking Amps to turn over the engine. It could also be that the car needs a basic tune up (spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor).
Hook the car up to another car battery with jumper cables. Try to start it now. If it still starts slow, do a tune up. If it starts fine now, change your car's battery. It is almost dead.
Hope this helps.
Either the ign. switch is faulty, or the starter is faulty Or the starter solenoid is stuck closed, so the starter is constantly engaged and getting voltage from starter relay. If so you would need to replace the solenoid.
There could be an issue with your starter or the starter solenoid. Have it checked, but either part might need to be replaced.
Your battery could need replaced, your alternator or starter could be going bad. It is best to have a mechanic look at it if this bothers you or it continues.
no it needs only moderate torque starter.
where is the starter located on a 1991 Lexus ls 400. I need a picture so that i can see where it needs to be replaced.
first thing i wouldn't try to start the motor more than a few times, and then let the starter cool down, then try again. the starter solenoid may have bad brushes and need rebuilt, or the starter relay may be defective and need replaced.
Sounds like your theft deterent system is engaged; for that you will need to go to the dealer (tow car to dealer). My 1996 had the same problem. They will have to replace the module in the dash or re-work it.
You need to replaced the starter or the alternator.
Your starter has gone bad and will need to be replaced unless you can take the starter to an automotive electrician and he may be able to fix it.
every 40,000 km
On my truck ( 1994 Chevrolet ) it is on the starter. If you want an answer about another vehicle you will need to ask a new question and include year, make, and model. On my truck ( 1994 Chevrolet ) it is on the starter.
