Yes. Though some believe in Divinely-guided evolution, this is often not the case. The general paradigm in which Evolution is taught, is one of mere random events, especially mutations.
The narrative of Divine Creation, which is contained in Genesis ch.1 and 2, states that God created the universe. This teaches us that God exists, that our lives and the world are not random, and that the created things may be assumed to contain vast wisdom in their beautiful and purposeful design. (In recent decades, this wisdom has indeed been partially revealed, through increasingly powerful microscopes.)Evolution through random mutations, on the other hand, may be understood as implying that life is an accident, that perceived beauty and wisdom are ultimately purposeless, and that our instinctive yearning for the Eternal is just an electrical impulse in our brain.
Many think that science, and specifically Evolution, have proved that there is no God. They don't comprehend that even if Evolution was an unquestionable fact, it would not automatically follow that God isn't there. They also may be unaware that there are some highly-qualified scientists who do not believe in Evolution.

Is there evidence against Evolution?
Yes. In religious teachings God created the Earth and the universe, and in science they believe the big bang created the universe.
To my understanding of the term, Religious Conservatism is a movement that holds that people should interpret the holy book or books of the religion literally. It also adheres to the traditions and teachings of the early founders of the religion. It does not accept the "progressive" or "liberal" views of those who claim to be followers of the religion but who try to introduce teachings that contradict or fly in the face of those written in the holy books and those taught by the founders of the religion.
Everything is contradicted by some religion.
I'll speak as if you you mean Christianity and the God of the Bible.Yes and no. Most scientific knowledge does not contradict God. (most Christians won't raise much of a stink if you tell them the Earth revolves around the Sun). Many scientific theories do contradict God. Which is why they are theories-- they are as of yet unproven, and cannot be proven in truth if they do contradict God's reality.Since no string of logic can disprove God without defeating itself, nothing disproves God in truth.
No, Confucionism is not really a religion. It is a set of moral teachings which, taken together, form a complete philosophy of life.
