Usually, it does. It only works with a toothPASTE not toothpaste (the gel kind). I would recommend using Crest (the regular mint kind). What it does is it crusts up and dries (I would leave it on either overnight or 3-4 hours at a time. After you wake up (or time is up) wash your toothpaste off and put on some lotion.
That should do it!

∙ 11y agoNo it does not. Toothpaste is only meant for your teeth, just buy acne treatments online or hell....even in the supermarket. Putting toothpaste on your skin is like putting Oranges on your hair to wash your hair.

∙ 11y agoToothpaste contains triclosan ingredients that kill bacteria and commonly added to personal-care items, while acne products also contain triclosan but as a preservative and not as an active ingredient.
Applying toothpaste on pimples may cause irritation and redness so this is not really advisable although a lot of people used acne to clear out their pimples.

∙ 11y agoYes it can , but only some certain toothpaste that contains menthol or alcohol can be used to treat pimples better , if you use brands such as (colgate or darlie) it can be used to treat pimples as well , but make sure that it contains the needed ingredients or not it will treat pimples slower
