Yes. The website "Wawagames.com" is a scam website which cons users out of personal information (in exchange for "eCoins," used on the online game "Fantage") through a few different methods:

  • Phony "surveys" which require personal information (such as e-mail address [which, if given, will receive hundreds of spam offers] age, gender, name, etc.)
  • Displaying videos as a facade, while in the background, spyware, tracking programs, and other pieces of malicious software are installed on the computer
  • Online games (which invariably attempt to install tracking programs, spyware, and keyloggers onto your computer which steal credit card information, PayPal information, and other important data)
  • Downloads of phony programs (which contain Trojans and viruses) disguised as games (for example, "Feed the Snake").

In short, "Wawagames.com" is a fraudulent phishing website which is meant to con children out of their parents' financial information (both voluntarily and through the use of viruses). It can (and does) give your Computer Viruses. If you want to lose a large portion of money just for a few "eCoins," it would be more beneficial to just buy the "eCoins" with money on the "Fantage" website itself.

In conclusion, "Wawagames.com" can and will give your computer viruses.
