It depends. In the past, like 10 years ago there were many people who considered wolminized wood to protect against termites or ants. Some of them claimed that the method works while others complained about their failure. One thing is clear: termites like wood; they mostly eat wet wood. These insects are also constantly adapting to new extermination and prevention methods. From my own experience I can say that the old repellents that I used to keep termites away from my garden are absolutely no longer effective! It's not that these are expired or something. Brand new fresh repellents that don't work anymore - termite adapted.

But...

The first thing to do if you want to run some termite prevention measures is to try and drain all possible water leakages around your house. If your house has been a victim of a recent flood or something call your local cleaning company and ask them to carefully dry your walls and the wooden structure of your house.

This should help.

And remember, always run prevention measures from time to time!

Do flaggellates living in Symbiosis always harm the animal in which they live?

False. Why? Because here's an example. One type of Flagellate lives in the intestines of termites. There, they digest the wood that the termites eat, producing sugars for themselves and for the termites. In turn, the termites protect the protozoans.
