Every job unless exempt by some type of federal program, falls under the same general labour laws. Unless you are getting tips or commission, you should always be getting paid minimum wage at the very least. Only under very rare circumstance would you make less than minimum wage.
If you make commission or tips, then that can be counted towards your wage.
