Yes, It does , because it works on many different phone carriers...
Yes the Palm Pre has a sim card. The Palm Pre is a CDMA device and all CDMA devices have sim cards.
yes
You can do so by entering your phone application and navigating to the fourth tab at the bottom of the screen - The contacts view, in other words. Press the menu button on your keyboard and choose "Import from SIM". This downloads all contacts from your SIM card to the internal memory of your phone.
Yes, but only if both wireless devices are from the same carrier.
Yes of course you can. I've had my Treo 650 on a go phone plan for 3 years plus. As long as the phone is set up for the carrier in which you plan on using their prepaid service and it has a sim card slot if such is needed. Slide card in, restart/ reset device. Rock and Roll
Just like any other unlocked phone, a unlocked treo basically is not limited to a particular mobile carrier. For example, a phone locked by Sprint can only work on the Sprint network. If you put a SIM card from, say Verizon into the phone, it will theoretically not be able to make calls or send and receive messages. No such restriction is present on an unlocked phone.
One way would be to synchronize hte phones to a PIM on your PC, like outlook contacts. That's how I got my contacts from by Blackberry to my Treo 700w.
If the palm centro has a sim card slot then it is an at&t phone (it should say that on the front) then go to an at&t retailer but if it doesn't it is most likely with sprint in which case you would have to call them to reactive the phone on a new plan.
You call your carrier and activate your sim card.
The plural form of SIM card is SIM cards.
