If your spouse is constantly mad at you, it can mean several things.
One, he/she loves you very much and just cannot bear what kind of person you have become over time.
Two, he/she feels his/her love diminishing and is trying to rekindle it by trying to 'retrieve' the person you used to be.
Three, your spouse is currently not content with himself/herself and projects his/her own perceived imperfections on you.
Four, your spouse is becoming aware to the kind of person you really are. That means he/she did not really know you before and is now trying to decide whether or not he/she can live with the kind of person you are.
Sure enough, if your spouse is mad at you, it means that he/she cares about you a lot. You simply do not get mad at a person you do not care about.
