I'm not sure what your question is,but Ford has a recall out on some of the duel fuel tank components on those trucks.Call a dealer to find out what they are.Or maybe someone else here knows the details.
What is the question? Questions typically start with Who, What, Where When, Why or How... This is a comment... Thanks!
Attached to the frame on the driver side just about under where the driver would sit.
Is there a rocker switch just to the right of the headlight switch ?
how do i replace the fuel selector switch on the dash of a 1995 ford f250
when you have two tanks on your vehicle the fuel tank selector valve chooses what tank will send fuel to the engine. both tanks run into the valve
the fuel pumps are in the tanks and there are two of them have fun
The fuel tank selector valve on a 1993 Ford F150 with a 4.9L engine is on the left side frame rail under the driver side floor pan forward of the side fuel tank in-line on the fuel lines. Follow the fuel lines from the side tank forward until you see the selector valve. The valve will have at least three fuel lines and one electric plug with wires plugged into it.
inside the in tank fuel pump.
You need to decide on capacity then buy tank and hangers and a selector valve ,fuel lines, sending unit.
The separator is valve handle is on the firewall side of the fuel canister
2001 7.3 L F250 diesel after replacing fuel filter drain valve
The traditional three port fuel selector valve is designed to allow the operator to switch between two fuel tanks, without having to switch the supply hose from one tank, to the other. Each of the two outboard, (outside) ports, go to your fuel tanks. The middle port is the outlet to your engine.
