Unmaximise the window and move it to the monitor that it should be opening on. Don't maximise it here, just close it.
When you open it again, it will be on the correct monitor. Maximise it again, then close it.
From this point on, it will open on the correct monitor, even if you move it to the other monitor and maximise it there. Same "problem", only reversed. Since that's what you want it to do, it's not really a problem now. Still a biug though.
The applications can be downloaded from a PC using iTunes.
Windows: iTunes default storage location is in your My Music\iTunes\Mobile Applications folder.
From itunes
You do have it on the latest itunes when an iphone is selected under devices. In the library you will see an applications section if you have at least one application saved in the library.
You go to your iPod touch's applications and press sync

Via iTunes, add the .ipa files to iTunes Library and sync with the iphone
You just download it from itunes from the itunes store and sync it to your ipod or if you have a itouch, you can download it directly from the app store.
Go to the Applications folder on your Mac. Select iTunes, then go to File>Get Info, or press Command-I.
buy them from the appstore, on your computer through itunes, or snyc previously bought apps through itunes
In itunes, select file - transfer purchases from "name of iphone". That should work.
Almost all of the applications on the iTunes store is compatible with the iPhone 4. Exceptions are applications which are for the iPad.
