U-BOAT means "UNTERSEEBOOT" ("submarine" or "under sea boat"), and serves to nominate wichever Germans submarines from the past and today;
One of them, was the first, strong, fast and relatively small boat builted in Kaiserliche Werft in Danzig Docks, ordered by the Deutsche KriegsMarine and was formerly known as German Type U-2 submarine, with its acronym "U-2", meaning, in this case, the "Submarine #2", yes, the same name from that so nice Irish Rock Band. The U-2 "u-boats" serves just as a trainning platform to saylors and crew during WW-I.
The Uboat was a submarine made by the Germans
Primarily over 2,000 merchant vessels, with a sprinkling of allied warships.
During World War II, U-boats were operated by the German Navy, known as the Kriegsmarine. They were used to disrupt Allied supply lines and conduct military operations at sea.

Ack-Emma is the phrase that means in the morning and was used during World War 1.
No German invaders made onto U.S soil during World War 2. Many probably migrated here during the war but did so in peace and legal means.
The war at sea in world war one (as with two in the atlantic) was inherintly limited by the allies primarily Britains decicive advantage, the Germans faught the French and the British with the battle of Jutland being the main engagement. The result of this was the British taking heavier losses than the Germans but the Germans lost their ability to really challenge the British and did not engage in major surface engagments after this. The Germans pioneered submarine warfare during world war one but this was relatively limited and is mainly significant in its influence in the German decision and ability to launch a Uboat campaign in world war 2
no only during ww2
During world conflict, no. The times the Olympic Games were cancelled was in 1916 during World War I and 1940 and 1944 during World War II.
The United States fought as a whole, and not particular to individual states.
