Either you're spinning the tires, have something installed to turn it off, or (at least) one of the tire speed sensors is faulty.
Press the ESP button. On the chrome part of the dash
"Electronic Stability Protection," basically the traction control system.
In most cases it means one of the wheel speed sensors has gone bad and needs to be replaced.
You have to fix the cause of the code that is set in the ABS module.
The ABS computer has detected a malfunction and has set a code. You will need to have the system scanned. The ABS computer has detected a malfunction and has set a code. You will need to have the system scanned.
Im having problems with my 2006 dodge magnum. i dont drive it that much it only has 60k miles and the lights just turn on today. is there anything i can do about this?
It is the ESP light. That is the anti skid system.
The esp system is automatic and you do not need to do anything for it to activate in a skid.
You can't fully disable the ESP on any model except the SRT, without modifications. To put the ESP in a limited-mode, press the ESP button (next to the emergency flashers). If I remember right, you'll see "Mr. Squiggles" which lets you know that it's partially disabled. That's the best you can do without modifiying your car. -snip- I have an SRT-8 and all I have to do is hold down the button for a few seconds, the light flashes, and then I can play all I want... But beware... you don't have ANY stabilitity control at all... no anti-lock brakes either... But it's a kick in the pants...
