Answer from Islam
Orthodox Christianity is not a Monotheistic branch of Christianity. Islam is a Pure Monotheistic Religion. The bulk of Christians accept Trinity which tells us that 3 is 1. But the Orthodox is more developed one. Since it is not Pure Monotheistic, then it cannot be compared with Islam. When Orthodox Christians go to church they do not pray to God, but to the spiritless and lifeless icons of the saints being hanged on the walls of the church. It is their ritual to kiss them and to seek prosperity and good life from them. This is a shirk (polytheistic belief) according to Islam. This religion is not pure Christianity. It has been influenced by the Polytheistic beliefs of the ancient Greeks.
