The knock sesor is located, on your Isuzu 1290, at the front of the engine. The sensor screws into the engine. Wires connect the sensor to the senor light.
The knock sensor is located under the manifold on the rear of the engine near the fire wall. You will need to get a new manifold gasket as this will have to be replaced after the knock sensor is reached.
it is on the drivers side of engine block screwed into block near side freeze plugs it is a 2 inch round sensor with a wire on top center of sensor
Bank 1 is the driver side of the engine, senor 2 is the second senor inline. senor 1 is before the cat, senor 2 is after the cat.
iF YOU SLIDE IN UNDER THE TRUCK BEHIND THE PASSENGER FRONT WHEEL AND LOOK UP AT THE BOTTOM SIDE OF THE ENGINE, YOU WILL SEE THE STARTER. NOW JUST IN FRONT OF THE STARTER A FEW INCHES YOU WILL SEE THE KNOCK SENOR SCREEWED INTO THE SIDE OF THE ENGINE BLOCK. iT CAN BE HARD TO SEE.
There are four in the system altogether. Bank one is the driver side of the engine. Senor one is the upstream senor before the cat. senor two is after the cat. They mount senor one in the exhaust manifold.
Yes it does and it is called a knock sensor. The V8 engines have 2 knock sensors and thay are under the intake manifold. You will have to remove the intake to get to them. The V6 engines have only 1 sensor and it is screewed into the top rear passenger side of the engine were the transmission bolts to the block. It is just under the oil sending unit.
Bank1 is the driver side of the engine, senor 1 is on the engine side of the catalytic converter in the exhaust flow.
crawl under the engine, at the front where the crank pullet is you will see an elctrical connection right behond the pulley. New answer; Sorry but that is the cam sensor, The crank senor is behind the starter on the block, Depending on the year. Crank senor has never been inTHE FRONT OF THE ENGINE.
