Does anybody knows the meaning of trouble code P1400?

The code P1400 reads "DPFE Sensor Voltage Low" (Ford, Mazda). Often it's caused by a bad DPFE sensor or clogged EGR passages. DPFE stands for (Differential Pressure Feedback EGRI) I would clean the EGR valve which cost nothing. If that does not cure the problem, you may need to replace the DPFE sensor, which does cost, and it may not fix the problem. If you want to be sure you replace the correct part, then visit your local Ford dealer. dpfe stands for delta pressure not differential.

How do i fix service engine soon on a 1999 Nissan Altima with a diagnostic error code p1400?

that's egrc solenoid valve, you can go and get it check at any parts store or buy a obdII code reader and erase it if the problem persist replace the egrc solenoid, and have the code erased again it should fix the problem, althougth i had a problem like that and it wasn't the egrc, was the egr valve since goes connected to the egrc can give you that problem chek if you have a code for egr, if it shows the code i will suggest to replace the egr it's cheaper

What causes a 1996 mercury villager odb codes p1400 p0135 p0325?

P1400 Differential Pressure Feedback EGR Circuit Low Input (Dealer TSB Number: 99103 addressed some possibles with this issue)p0135 Heater O2 Sensor1 Bank 1 (This is the first sensor nearest the engine)P0325 Knock SensorThe last code often sets with almost any other problem, there is probably nothing wrong with the knock sensor itself, it's a passive part. The O2 sensor may be bad, but it may also have a broken wire about six inches up the harness where there is a splice, this is a COMMON problem on these vehicles. The P1400 I would not worry about until you get the O2 sensor problem fixed. These codes tend to daisy-chain on these vehicles, sometimes one problem will cause 3 codes, I've seen it many times.

What does the check engine code P1400 on a 2002 Subaru impreza mean?

A quick Internet search revealed the following for all cars:P1400 Heated Catalyst Battery Voltage or Current too Low During Heating (Bank 1)For a Subaru, the code actually means: Fuel Tank Pressure Control Solenoid Circuit Low InputThe previous code definition is not specific to Subaru. It seems specific to BMW based on the print out I received from AutoZone when they read the code on my 98 Impreza.

How to test the EGR control solenoid?

I have a 95 Altima. I tested the EGR solenoid valve by using a multimeter. Disconnect the two-wire connector that plugs into the solenoid valve. When engine is cold and ignition turned on the two wires from the harness should read 12volts. Momentarily touch the connector to the socket on the solenoid valve and you should hear an audible click as the solenoid valve snaps open and closed. Also you can check the continuity of the solenoid valve coil. It should show good continuity and not "open." If you can read ohms on your meter you can also check the coil and it should read about 50 ohms if it is good. I was getting a P1400 code and thought my solenoid valve might be bad. It tested good so I removed the EGR valve and found it to be carboned up. A little choke cleaner fixed it up. Also the metal return tube that goes to the exhaust manifold was also carboned up. So far this has cured my problem.
