For a Subaru, the code actually means: Fuel Tank Pressure Control Solenoid Circuit Low Input
The previous code definition is not specific to Subaru. It seems specific to BMW based on the print out I received from AutoZone when they read the code on my 98 Impreza.

disconnect negative for a few hours either that or it'll turn off itself within 100 miles if the problem is fixed
