the exhaust valve will always be smaller as the piston is forcing the combusted gases out. The intake valves have to be bigger as the piston is only drawing the mixture in through sucktion.
The exhaust valves are smaller and lead to the exhaust manifold.
It is smaller in displacement, but is bigger in horsepower.
Yes. The exhaust is different, and you'll need a bigger radiator.
well i don't' know why this topic is under Toyota previa. but yes. it does depending what you want to do onto your car. like if you want to make it sound all loud/deep. A 2 3/4in. exhaust will be best if the vehicle isn't turbo charged or super charged. Any bigger than a 2 and 3/4"in exhaust on non t/c or s/c will cause loss of power. But if your car is t/c or s/c a 3" exhaust or a bigger exhaust will be best so it can maximize the air flow from into your engine to out, without any restiction. Exhaust plays a role into the performance of the car even tho if you upgraded to an aftermarket exhaust you'll probably gain 15hp, not much but it will give a better air flow from your exhaust headers to out the exhaust.
Make what sound louder? Your engine? Fit a different exhaust system. with a bigger bore.
Well, the turbo charged car has a turbo hooked up to the engine. What a turbo basically does is to force feed the engine with more air + fuel, making it possible to get more power out of a smaller engine.
Put a straight pipe on it for the exhaust pipe.Put bigger carberator on it.
outlet ports are smaller to reduce the exhaust losses
Yes. The exhaust will be different, and if it's a big engine going in and a small engine coming out, you might need a bigger radiator.
An exhaust pipe is used to excrete the co2 from the gas that has been burned in the engine it is usually snakes to thw back or side of the truck so that it is out of the way. If you get a bigger exhaust pipe than the stock one you can usually get some more power from your engine. You can also get an exhaust kit with a switch the can change the amount of exhaust exiting the pipes.
the diffence is the intake manifold and exhaust manifolds are slitly bigger
Because much smaller than the exhaust air flow velocity, in order to reduce intake resistance and improve gas flow, to increase engine power! Some of the engine intake lift not only large, more than the intake valve (eg, five-valve, into the 3 row 2), valve diameter, but also large!
