People believe Islam began with Prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him. This is untrue as Islam means - Submission, Peace and Obedience. So, there has been peace and submission during the past so that does mean you are a muslim. All the prophets were Muslims as they submitted themselves to Allah, our(muslims) one and only God. It was completed at the last Prophet but the message of all the Prophets (May peace be upon them all) was the same: ONENESS of Almighty God Who alone is the Creator, Sustainer, Provider and Ruler of all the worlds He has created. He has No Son, No Parents and No Partner or Associate. The idea of Trinity was Not given by Hazrat Jesus Christ (May peace be upon him). It was invented much later. There have been about 1,25,000 Prophets who preached the message of Almighty God to human beings.
