Multiple discrimination occurs when an individual experiences discrimination due to more than one characteristic such as race, gender, disability, or sexual orientation. This can lead to increased marginalization, lower self-esteem, and limited access to resources and opportunities. It can have a compounding effect on a person's well-being by subjecting them to various forms of discrimination simultaneously, making it harder for them to navigate society and achieve their full potential.
