we are classified as the highest society in the animal kingdom. so henceforth we are an animal. and we need people to talk to else we can't live and that's where comes society.
hence people live in a society to mix with other people.
and thus we are known as a social animal a social animal.
Because we generally coexist with other humans for example friends,bf and gf's etc...
