Nope - garter snakes (like all snakes) are carnivores. Between species, their diets can vary from amphibians, fish, earthworms, slugs, etc.. Some will even occasionally eat rodents, but they do not consume any kind of plant matter outside of minuscule amounts in their preys' stomachs.
