Supposedly it can be done. But why risk your health?
What did I do? I wanted to get high off of morning glory seeds, so I was patient. I planted some in a flower pot next to my window. A spectacular vine grew that spring and blossomed into magnificent flowers in the summer. My apartment looked amazing!
Come fall, the flowers dried up, seed pods formed, and the seeds were removed and eaten - without worry about pesticide - since none had been used on the growing plant!
Alternatively if you are lazy, there are many websites selling morning glory seeds that have not been treated with pesticides.
On the morning glory plant after it flowers.

Although there may be a chance that some states have illegalized it (like they did with Salvia) so you might want to Google it or go to ask.com, whichever search engine you use and find out if Morning Glory Seeds are still legal in your state. if so, type in "buy morning glory seeds" in the search engine browser! Good luck and have fun.

After the morning glory flower blooms, a seed pod begins to form from each bloom. It will be pale green at first, and will later turn brown and paper-like. The seeds are ripe at this brown, papery point. Harvest the pods and break them open. You'll see hard black seeds that can be saved and planted for next year's morning glories.
