With good use of camerawork colour lighting sounds and music, special effect's costumes and the set design.
Edwards father is called The Inventor; his name is never mentioned.
He is played by Vincent Price
Both The Inventor and Edward were outsiders to our world, so I believe that the inventors crafting abilities were more god-like to our eyes than sewing together pieces of flesh can be (Frankenstein). Before his death the Inventor presented Edward his new hands. They were made of wax like substance, so its probable that Edward was completely made of this substance before being "animated" in some magical way.
the most amazing movie ever and the most adorable person ever
in my opinion at least
She was not in the original Betelgeuse which starred Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Winona Ryder.
However it is rumoured that she will be in the second Beetlejuice film, which is possibly being worked on by Tim Burton (her husband).

Tim Burton made the movie, but if your reffering to the actual character's creater in the movie itself, it's that old man who invents things and lives in the big house, they never really say his name.
Answer: Edward makes ice sculptures in the winter and the ice shavings fly out the window.
The elderly lady from the beginning of the film is revealed to be Kim. Edward still lives, but Kim does not visit him as she wishes him to remember her as she was.
He was technically never born so he has no official age. I'm assuming though he is supposed to be fairly young...maybe his early twenties or late teens.
The point of the scissors, most basically, is to show Edward is *not* like everyone else.
More philosophically, if we think about how important the sense of touch is in interpersonal relationships, we can see Edward's lack of proper hands means he is not able to emotionally connect with other people. Also if he tries to connect (touch) with someone, he could easily hurt that person on accident. I think there are a lot of lonely people that can identify with that.

I thought it was stupid. The ending sucks. But my girlfriend likes if for some reason. I'd say no though. :
To a massive Burton fan that really offensive but that's your opinion. I personaly loved the movie . It is apparently suposed to be the feeling you get as a teen loving someone only to find that they cant be yours - ie. siccors for hands cant touch. But the movie is amazing , sad and at some sceans you could just leap out at of your chair and scream at some of the characters. Its a must see.
The settings in Edward Scissorhands create a major contrast, the entire movie although over dramatic helps to convey the idea of the director. For example Edwards mansion is dark dreary and not a very welcoming place and this gives us the impression that Edward will be a representation of his mansion, when really he is a kind, caring and very shy young man. The suburban streets are made to look welcoming and candy colored e.t.c when really whats underneath that is lies and deceit.
Edward was created by a scientist. The scissor hands were only intended to be temporary, however the scientist died before he could replace the scissors with normal hands. Edward was stuck with the scissors as hands for the rest of his life.
Poor Edward
I would say first, for the clothing part, get a long sleeved turtleneck sweater, or a black leather jacket. If u get the jacket, turn it backwards so that the zipper is on your back. Then, get 5 regular sized black belts for the torso. Paint the buckles gold. Wrap 3 of 5 belts around your bosom and stomach area singulary. Sew, safety pin, or hot glue them in place so that they don't slip off. Then, Take the last 2 and glue or sew them together to make 1 really big belt. Try to remove the buckles from the big belt. Get a metal closet hanger, cut it, then bend it into the circular buckles shape that Edward Scissorhands has, and paint it gold. Add a 2nd ring around that to make it thicker if u desire. Pin, glue, whatever the large belt around your waist. Oh, and if you can't find anything black, gold, ect, or the paint just won't stay on, look into buying some Gesso from your local craft store, that stuff is amazing for painting stuff, it helps the paint stick and makes it incrediably flexible. Anyways, When that is done, take 1 (or 2) more belts (or, as a substitue for belts, cut out some fabric strips from and old black shirt or pants) and cut them/it in half. From your top belt (which should cover your breast area), attach it coming off of the top belt to your back in a vertical fashion (look at a picture of Edward and you'll see what I'm talking about). Then make something that looks similar to the little crest he has on his left top vertical strap, (from paper, cardboard, whatever) and attach it to the strap. Now is when to bust out the bedazzler! Bedazzle a bunch of metal pieces to the belts, straps, and such for that Edward look as well. And now for the pants. Get a pair of tight fitting black pants, but leather pants would be best. Get more belts or fabric, and follow the pattern that his pants have, if you really want to get specific, and add on more metal studs. For the buckles, just do the hanger trick I mentioned earlier. And for the boots, you could get some really tall boots and just tape on some fabric strips to make the strips that hang off his one boot, and with the other foot, just leave pants going over top of most of the boot. Then, attempt to bedazzle more studs on the boots, but if u want, just bezzale strips of fabric then tape the to the boot as well. You can find some really great youtube videos about how to do his makeup and hair. Good luck, have fun with it, and hope this wasn't information overload! ;)
Because it's a Tim Burton movie, and Tim Burton movies are so amazing to begin with it will be hard to do a remake, there most likely will not be a remake.
He said a total of 169 words in the whole film.
Johnny Depp
As Edward Scissorhands has Real-Life characters, yes it is ALL 3d :s
