The switch is screwed into a small coolant tube off of the thermostat housing that goes back to the heater core. The switch has a plastic clip over it, not to be confused with the single wire coming off of the ECT sensor which is also screwed into the same coolant tube.
were is the cooling fan sensor located on a Chevy malabu 2002 3.1L
The coolant fan switch is located close to the thermostat.
The 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix cooling fan sensor is located on the front of the engine. The fan sensor can be found just above the thermostat.
The coolant fan sensor is the same as the sensor that shows the coolant temperature on the dash gauge. It is located on the intake manifold.
There is not a separate cooling fan sensor, it controlled by the ECM which get it's reading from the ECT (engine coolant temp sensor)
ON my 92 sundance the sensor is located on the side of the themostat housing. It also controls the cooling fan. If it quits, start the car let it warm up and unplug the sensor at the housing. If the fan comes on the sensor is bad.
The fan switch is a sensor located in right side of the head
The water temperature sensor is located on the front of the engine. You will find the sensor behind the thermostat housing.
the fan sensor will be located underneath the distributor it should be a 2 wire plug and the sensor itself should be screwed into the head
The engine temperature sensor is located next to where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. The computer uses that sensor to decide when to actuate the radiator fan relays and turn the fans on.The engine temperature sensor is located next to where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. the sensor is located next to the thermostart, driver side of the cylinder head.
The sensor is located under the upper rad hose Directly below the hose is a sensor with 1 wire to it That is for the gauge Just behind and down from that is a sensor with 2 wires This is the fan sensor
