The internet ( a network) is a prime example of computer-to-computer communications. The only way to arrive at a "true" outcome to this question would be to assume that most computers are never connected to a network of any kind.

The fact that few consumer-oriented computers are manufactured/sold without built-in networking (communications) capabilities would make that assumption fallacious.
