the firing order is 18436572. The Distributor location of no 1 is usually on the front to the right of the Dist. hold down clip. But, that can be changed depending on where you locate the Dist. in the block.

By asking another question and listing the year, make, model, and engine size this time you ask this question. You will then get an answer.
the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Number one cylinder on the cap should be slightly to the right of center on the front of the dist cap. Firing order will go in a clockwise motion around the cap. CYLINDERS 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 front of car
Clockwise--1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
On my Astro, the firing order is located on the distributor cap- Where each plug wire goes into the cap, there is a number on the cap-find#1 go clockwise for the next number etc. That's your firing order
The firing order on all small block chevys is 18436572. It should be imorinted on the intake. Trace the number one plug wire back to the dist. It's the one on the left (drivers) side of the engine at the front of the motor. The dist rotates clockwise.
