The minimum requirement today for a physical therapist is a master's degree, and it may soon change to a doctorate. Those who pursue a career in this field come form a variety of educational backgrounds and fields particular to their bachelor's degree. The critical issue at The Bachelor's level is to complete all the prerequisite coursework. Students should have a strong foundation is the following.
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Higher level maths
- Communication skills (written and oral)
- Computer literacy
- Development of excellent critical thinking skills.
