If animals that had BSE did not get into the food chain for either humans and other ruminants in the first place, and instead were burned and buried, then none of this would've happened. The USA liked to blame Canada for all the problems of "spreading the disease" when the cow that had BSE in 2003 was originally from the States in the first place. And the next thing you know, the USA is claiming that they are "BSE free." Which is a load of you-know-what.
